Jyothi Lakshmi is actually a do or die film for Charmme. She has a lot of hopes and cash riding on this film as she is also one of the producers. Directed by the super talented Puri Jagan, this film has hit the screens these days. Let’s see however the film is.
Satya (Satyadev) could be a software engineer who falls love with a prostitute named Jyothi Lakshmi (Charmee). He visits her home daily and spends some precious time together with her. One fine day, he proposes Jyothi Lakshmi and reveals that he want to marry her. After seeing Satya’s honesty, Jyothi Lakshmi decides to start out a replacement life and plans to run off with Satya. Will she manage to her dreaded life behind? will her past haunt her ? And what consequences will she face when she alters her life style is that the entire crux of the story.
Charmee is that the main pillar of the film. The way she goes regarding her character and showcases completely different variations is superb. She is bubbly and daring within the role of a prostitute and is sort of rebellious and serene within the second half. One will simply say that it’s Charme’s career best performance. The actual show stealer is that the young actor Satyadev. He contains a terrific screen presence and gives a descent performance. He will surely have an extended career in Tollywood and offers excellent support to Charmee during this film. First half of the film is sort of daring and a few scenes are liked by the mosses.Interval bang is interesting and has been executed well. Hyderabadi film actor Aziz Nasser is pretty smart in his supporting role. Dialogues by Puri Jagan are bang on and can hit you effectively. The way girl’s empowerment has been showcased is descent.
One of the most drawbacks of the film is that the way Charme’s character transforms appearance bit hurried up. Once showcasing her in such a daring approach, the approach she alters herself permanently appearance below par. The approach Satyadev’s character is suddenly sidelined within the last half lacks focus.Even though the film good message, it gets preacher throughout the last half. Charme’s speech concerning prostitutes and also the approach she destroys the sex employees racket has been stretched somewhat. Brahmanandam’s role appearance out of place and doesn’t have much result.
Lack of known faces within the film may also go against the film. Despite the fact that the songs are sensible they need been placed wrong within the last half. There was no would like of an item song that spoils the flow of the intense film. Story of the film is sort of routine and has been dealt many times.
Music of the film is impressive and particularly the background score elevates the film well. As mentioned earlier, dialogues are pretty smart and carry the mood of the film well. Script by Puri Jagan is crisp and makes up for a few fascinating scenes. Special effects is also good however sure visuals lack clarity about the set of the film.Coming to the director Puri Jagan, he has been making films that even have an underlying message. He delivers a good message during a commercial format however drags it little throughout the top. Editing by S R Sekhar is pretty impressive.
On the complete, Jyothi Lakshmi may be a daring film that has a message with a twist. However the message is dragged out a bit within the second half. Charme’s power packed performance and an interesting first half are huge assets. This film will draw vast crowds within the B and C centers however simply a onetime watch is for the others who look for regular popcorn amusement.
